Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks
- Availability to work part-time shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation standards
- Good communication skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to work well under pressure
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a bar or food service environment beneficial
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting
- Good physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Basic knowledge of beverage service considered an asset
Job Duties
- Receives all liquor, beer and wine from storeroom daily and as needed
- Replenishes all liquor, beer and wine in the bar throughout the shift
- Retrieves needed food items from kitchen and delivers to bar area
- Retrieves needed beverage items and garnishes from storerooms and delivers to bar area
- Sets up bottles on bar with 'top shelf' liquor on back shelf
- Ensures beer taps are working properly
- Places appropriate bar snacks on counter
- keeps supplies stocked
- Assists in opening and closing side work
- Buses tables in bar area
- Maintains cleanliness and tidiness of bar or lounge areas including washing work tables, walls, refrigerators and floors under equipment
- Sweeps and mops service areas including floor mats
- Removes rubbish from all receptacles
- Prepares and serves beverages to assist bartender as needed
- Performs other duties as assigned
