Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to receive all liquor, beer, and wine deliveries and restock bar supplies
- Physical ability to lift and carry heavy objects
- Willingness to work part-time and seasonal hours including evenings and weekends
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to maintain cleanliness and safety standards at the bar area
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a bar or restaurant environment preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items
- Availability to work evenings and weekends
- Basic knowledge of beverage service is an advantage
Job Duties
- Receives and restocks liquor, beer, and wine from storeroom throughout shifts
- Retrieves food items from the kitchen and delivers to bar area
- Fetches beverage items and garnishes from storerooms and delivers to bar
- Sets up bottles on the bar with top-shelf liquor on the back shelf
- Ensures beer taps are working properly
- Keeps bar snacks and supplies stocked
- Assists in opening and closing side work
- Buses tables in bar area
- Maintains cleanliness and tidiness of bar and lounge areas including washing work tables, walls, refrigerators, and floors
- Removes rubbish from receptacles
- Prepares and serves beverages to assist bartenders
- Performs other duties as assigned
