The role in focus primarily involves maintaining the bar area and ensuring the smooth operation of beverage services within the venue. This position is essential to creating a seamless experience for customers by managing the supply and presentation of liquor, beer, wine, and bar snacks efficiently. Responsibilities include receiving and replenishing all beverages from the storerooms, setting up liquor bottles with attention to detail regarding premium 'top shelf' placement, and ensuring equipment like beer taps are functioning correctly. The role also encompasses cleaning and tidying duties to maintain the bar’s appearance, including washing surfaces, sweeping, mopping, and managing rubbish removal. Additionally, the position offers hands-on experience with mixology support by preparing and serving beverages to assist bartenders.
