Job Description

Twin Peaks is a well-known and established dining and entertainment chain that uniquely combines a rustic lodge-inspired atmosphere with an extensive beverage program and a focus on high-quality service and hospitality. Renowned for its unique blend of comfort food and a vibrant sports bar environment, Twin Peaks offers an inviting experience where guests can enjoy great food, refreshing drinks, and a lively yet congenial ambiance. With a commitment to exceptional service and a distinctive brand identity, Twin Peaks has garnered a loyal customer base and continues to grow in multiple locations. The company prides itself on its brand values that emphasize pride, discipline, and extreme standards, which reflect in every aspect of their operation, especially behind the bar where the atmosphere is both professional and welcoming. Employment with Twin Peaks typically involves a dynamic, fast-paced environment that encourages teamwork and high performance.

The role of the Twin Peaks Bar Back is an essential part of maintaining the bar's smooth operation and upholding the company's esteemed beverage program. This position is critical to ensuring the cleanliness, organization, and functionality of the bar area, supporting the bartenders (referred to as Twin Peaks Girls) by handling inventory restocking, cleaning duties, and equipment maintenance. The Bar Back's responsibilities also include changing kegs, checking taps and appliances, and ensuring that safety and sanitation standards are met consistently throughout their shift. The position requires an individual with a strong sense of discipline, pride in their work, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.

A key part of this role involves strict adherence to Twin Peaks' uniform policy, which highlights the importance of professionalism and presentation, including specific guidelines on apparel, grooming, and personal hygiene. The bar back must maintain a neat appearance, including wearing a clean Twin Peaks hat, keeping hair and facial hair well-groomed, and following grooming standards such as trimmed fingernails and limitations on jewelry and headphones. Additionally, this role demands the capacity to understand and comply with the company’s training programs, which cover safety, sanitation, and operational best practices, ensuring that all work is carried out in line with local and state regulations regarding food and alcohol service.

This job demands physical stamina and dexterity, as bar backs will regularly stand, walk, reach, and occasionally lift items weighing up to 30 pounds. Working conditions may involve exposure to airborne particles from the kitchen, wet or humid environments, and potentially hazardous cleaning chemicals. Despite these challenges, the position offers an engaging and rewarding work experience within an energetic and supportive team setting.

Ultimately, the Twin Peaks Bar Back role is designed for motivated individuals who take pride in their work, demonstrate reliability, and support the team’s success by maintaining a clean, well-stocked, and efficiently operating bar. This position is ideal for those seeking to build their experience in the hospitality and food service industry while contributing to a fun and unique restaurant atmosphere.
