The Bar Back position at Twin Peaks is a vital role responsible for supporting the bar team by ensuring the bar area is clean, well-stocked, and compliant with all safety and sanitation regulations. The Bar Back works closely with bartenders, referred to as the "Twin Peaks Girls," maintaining the bar’s appearance and operational readiness. Individuals in this role must maintain the highest standards of uniform and personal grooming and uphold the company’s strict policies to ensure a professional and inviting environment. The Bar Back cleans and organizes the bar stations and equipment, changes kegs, and monitors taps and appliances to confirm proper function. Employees in this position must demonstrate strong teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to follow strict procedures and policies related to cleaning, safety, and sanitation. The Bar Back role includes opening and closing duties such as restocking, mopping, and ensuring a clean and orderly bar. There is an emphasis on constant communication and coordination with bar staff to ensure a seamless beverage service. Training involves digital learning tools such as tablets or computers, preparing candidates to excel in the Twin Peaks system. Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting up to 30 pounds, along with requiring good vision and manual dexterity. The environment may expose Bar Backs to kitchen fumes, wet conditions, chemicals, and occasional smoke from designated smoking sections. This position requires completion of mandatory training and orientation sessions including food and alcohol service certifications, reflecting Twin Peaks’ commitment to compliance and guest safety.

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as a bar back

  • attendance and successful completion of Twin Peaks orientation
  • successful completion of training program prior to unsupervised work
  • completion of required local and state training such as food and/or alcohol service certifications
