Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum age to serve alcohol
Courteous, friendly personality and professional appearance
Knowledge of menu items including beers, wines, cocktails, and liquors
Basic math and computer skills
Strong problem solving and communication skills
Ability to handle tense situations calmly and rationally
Observant and thorough
Responsible and punctual
Ability to meet physical demands including walking, standing, and lifting heavy items
Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge of menu items including beers, wines, cocktails, and liquors
Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem solving skills
Ability to memorize cocktail recipes
Experience in hospitality or related field preferred
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
Friendly and professional demeanor

Job Duties

Assisting with opening and closing duties such as restocking the bar with garnishes, straws, and napkins
Ensuring that bartenders have clean towels, glassware, and other supplies
Ensuring the bar is well-stocked with ice, liquor, wine, and beer
Checking taps and appliances to confirm proper functioning and changing kegs when necessary
Keeping the bar clean by wiping surfaces, sweeping, mopping, and removing soiled glassware
Learning about menu items and memorizing cocktail recipes
Taking orders, preparing drinks, bussing tables, opening tabs, and processing payments during peak hours
Speaking to customers, answering questions, and handling complaints
Maintaining records and reporting usage to assist with reordering and proper storage of delivered items
