The role available is that of a Barback, starting at $11.00 per hour plus tips. This position is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of the bar area by maintaining cleanliness, restocking supplies, and supporting bartenders to deliver exceptional service. The Barback is responsible for a broad range of duties that revolve around maintaining the highest standards of sanitation, efficiency, and guest satisfaction. Working in this position means being at the heart of the venue’s operations, helping create a seamless guest experience. Employees in this role must be able to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment while adhering to safety and quality standards. The position requires physical stamina to handle tasks that include standing, walking, carrying heavy loads, and engaging in various activities throughout the shift.

The Barback is expected to maintain bar areas spotless, replenish all inventory items consistently, and assist with bar breakdown and cleaning at the end of shifts. This includes cleaning spilled drinks and broken glass, stocking liquor, beer, wine, and other consumables, cutting fresh fruit for garnishes, and managing trash disposal. Barbacks also play a key role in always keeping the bar ready for quick and efficient service by managing sanitizer buckets, towels, and glassware cleanliness. A proactive approach to safety practices and adherence to company policies, especially related to responsible alcohol service, are essential aspects of this role. The job also includes occasional training responsibilities to onboard new staff members under management supervision.

Candidates for this role are required to have prior experience in the food and beverage industry, preferably as a barback or similar position in a high-volume environment. Licenses and permits necessary to comply with health and safety regulations, including a health and food safety permit and an Oklahoma ABLE Liquor License, must be obtained by the candidate. The role demands individuals who can work well under pressure, multitask efficiently, and maintain a professional and positive attitude toward team collaboration and guest services. The working environment is physically demanding, involving extensive standing and walking with occasional lifting of heavy items, which necessitates good physical health and endurance.
