The role of a Bar-Back is essential to the smooth operation of our bar. Acting as the bartenders' extra set of hands, the Bar-Back is responsible for maintaining stock levels, assisting during busy service periods, and providing timely support to bartenders for all their needs. This role includes crucial behind-the-scenes tasks such as cleaning and wiping down surfaces, washing glassware and dishes, and ensuring the bar area is organized and well-maintained throughout the shift. Additionally, the Bar-Back is responsible for restocking liquor, garnishes, and other bar supplies promptly to prevent any disruption during service. Handling drink spills, broken glassware, changing beer kegs, emptying trash bins, and refilling ice wells also fall under the duties of the Bar-Back. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, proactive, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
