Job Description

Twin Peaks is a dynamic and renowned restaurant and bar that specializes in delivering a unique dining experience shaped by its distinct sporting-lodge atmosphere, exceptional service, and high-quality beverage program. Known for its commitment to pride, extreme standards, and discipline, Twin Peaks has cultivated a work environment that prioritizes teamwork, professionalism, and personal integrity. The establishment’s culture centers around providing guests not only with fantastic food and drinks but also with an engaging and enjoyable atmosphere, making it a popular destination for both locals and visitors alike.

The Bar Back position at Twin Peaks is an essential role designed to support the bar operations by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and the steady availability of beverages and bar-related supplies. This role requires individuals who are detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Bar Backs work closely with bartenders, referred to as the Twin Peaks Girls, to ensure the bar area runs smoothly and that customers receive timely and quality service. The position emphasizes physical endurance, attention to uniforms and personal grooming for professionalism, and strict adherence to safety and sanitation standards.

As a Bar Back, your daily responsibilities include restocking the bar, cleaning and sanitizing all bar areas and equipment, changing kegs, checking taps, and ensuring all bar appliances are functioning correctly. Given the physical demands of the role, candidates must be prepared to stand for extended periods, lift up to 30 pounds occasionally, and meet vision requirements such as depth perception and peripheral vision. The work environment often exposes employees to airborne particles, humidity, wet conditions in the kitchen and coolers, as well as the possible presence of cigarette or cigar smoke, requiring a high level of adaptability and resilience.

The role is ideal for individuals who thrive in team settings, can follow detailed instructions, and enjoy being part of a high-energy restaurant and bar scene. Twin Peaks requires Bar Backs to successfully complete their comprehensive training programs focused on safety, food and alcohol service certifications where mandated, and company policies to ensure compliance and avoid any workplace issues. Professionalism is also reflected in the dress code with specific requirements such as wearing a clean Twin Peaks black hat, maintaining well-groomed hair and facial hair, and adhering strictly to the uniform code to uphold the brand’s image.

This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to enter the hospitality industry or advance their careers within food and beverage service. Candidates who are enthusiastic about working hard, maintaining a clean and orderly work environment, and supporting their team will find the Bar Back role fulfilling and a valuable stepping stone in their professional journey. Employment at Twin Peaks provides the chance to be part of a respected team in a vibrant and growing company dedicated to high service standards and customer satisfaction.
