Job Description
Twin Peaks is a popular restaurant and bar chain renowned for its unique sports lodge ambiance, exceptional service, and high-quality food and beverage offerings. With a commitment to providing an engaging and welcoming environment, Twin Peaks prides itself on maintaining extreme standards, discipline, and professionalism among its team members. The company is focused on delivering not only great dining experiences but also an atmosphere where team members can thrive and grow in their roles. Twin Peaks operates numerous locations, each reflecting the core brand values and commitment to guest satisfaction, making it a sought-after place for hospitality professionals to build their careers.
The Bar Back position at Twin Peaks is a crucial role dedicated to supporting the bar operations by ensuring cleanliness, maintenance, and proper stocking of bar areas. This role requires an individual who takes pride in upholding the brand’s high standards and can work collaboratively within a fast-paced and dynamic team environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for keeping the bar area organized and sanitized, assisting with restocking supplies, handling equipment maintenance such as changing kegs and checking taps, and supporting the bartenders to ensure seamless service delivery. A Bar Back at Twin Peaks works closely alongside bartenders—referred to as Twin Peaks Girls—to assist in the preparation and maintenance of the bar, contributing directly to the overall guest experience.
This role demands a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to adhere to strict uniform and hygiene standards. Twin Peaks requires its Bar Backs to follow prescribed dress codes that include wearing a clean Twin Peaks black hat, maintaining clean and groomed hair and facial hair, and wearing a clean, non-faded kitchen shirt. The position also requires adhering to company policies around cleanliness, safety, and sanitation, all essential for maintaining a successful bar environment. Importantly, the Bar Back role is designed for individuals who enjoy working in a busy setting and who are comfortable operating in a team-driven culture where cooperation and communication are key.
Candidates for the Bar Back position must demonstrate an ability to complete training programs successfully, use technology such as tablets or computers for training and job functions, and meet physical demands such as standing, walking, and lifting up to 30 pounds. Additionally, the role involves exposure to various bar and kitchen environments, including potential contact with fumes, wet conditions, and cleaning chemicals. Twin Peaks offers orientation and ongoing training that complies with local and state regulations including food and alcohol service certifications.
Overall, this role is an ideal opportunity for those looking to establish or grow a career in the hospitality industry within a well-established and respected hospitality brand. Twin Peaks values individuals who are ready to embrace responsibility, display exemplary customer service skills, and contribute positively to a team-oriented work environment. Employment as a Bar Back at Twin Peaks is typically full-time or part-time depending on the location and needs, with compensation and benefits that reflect the company’s commitment to its employees’ well-being and professional growth. Candidates are encouraged to apply online and then visit the Twin Peaks location for an in-person meeting to further discuss their fit for the position.
