Twin Peaks is a renowned restaurant and bar chain known for its unique mountain lodge concept and attentive service that provides a memorable dining and beverage experience. With a strong emphasis on providing guests with a comfortable and inviting atmosphere, Twin Peaks is especially famous for its meticulously crafted beverage program and exemplary staff who adhere to the highest standards of cleanliness and professionalism. As a leader in the casual dining and sports bar sector, Twin Peaks prides itself on creating a work environment defined by teamwork, discipline, and pride in maintaining the bar area to exceptional standards. The company values dedication to quality service and cleanliness, making it an ideal workplace for individuals who take pride in their work and aspire to grow within the hospitality industry.
The Twin Peaks Bar Back position is an essential role focused on supporting the bar operations by ensuring that all bar-related items and stations are maintained to the highest level of cleanliness and organization. This role is vital to the success of the Twin Peaks beverage program, which offers guests an unparalleled experience through carefully curated drinks served in a clean, efficient, and professional practice. The Bar Back works closely alongside the iconic Twin Peaks Girl, sharing responsibilities that contribute to an inviting and smooth-running bar environment. This position demands a strong commitment to the Twin Peaks' uniform standards, safety, sanitation, and operational policies designed to maintain a clean and sanitized bar. The Bar Back is expected to have pride in their role, possess extreme standards when it comes to discipline, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
As a Twin Peaks Bar Back, you will be responsible for monitoring and replenishing bar supplies, ensuring that all equipment is operating properly, adhering to health and safety regulations, and working collaboratively with the entire bar staff to provide top-notch service. This includes performing opening and closing duties such as restocking, cleaning, mopping, and checking the working condition of kegs, taps, and other appliances. The position requires consistent adherence to uniform standards which include wearing the designated Twin Peaks black hat, keeping hair neatly tucked away, maintaining a clean-shaven or well-groomed appearance, and upholding strict hygiene practices such as trimmed fingernails and no visible jewelry or earbuds while working.
To succeed in this role, candidates must have proven experience as a Bar Back, strong communication skills in English, and the ability to follow detailed procedures related to cleaning, sanitizing, and general bar maintenance. The physical demands of this role necessitate standing for long periods, lifting moderate weights up to 30 pounds, and being able to operate within environments that may include exposure to kitchen fumes, humid conditions, and cleaning chemicals. The Bar Back will benefit from formal training provided by Twin Peaks, including orientation and certification programs aligned with local and state regulations related to food and alcohol safety. Successful completion of these trainings is mandatory before working independently.
By joining the Twin Peaks team as a Bar Back, you become part of a respected hospitality brand that offers opportunities for career growth within a dynamic and supportive team environment. The role not only builds expertise in bar operations and customer service but also cultivates a strong sense of pride in maintaining the standards that make Twin Peaks a leader in the casual dining industry.
