The position available is a Barback role, integral in supporting bartenders by maintaining clean and well-stocked bar areas. Job Requirements

must be at least 18 years of age
able to work days, nights, and/or weekends as required
able to work in environments with hot and cold temperatures such as freezers and around cooking equipment
able to work in noisy, fast-paced environment with distracting conditions
able to read and write handwritten notes
able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
able to move about facility and stand for long periods of time
able to walk or stand 100 percent of shift
able to reach, bend, stoop, mop, sweep and wipe frequently

Job Qualifications

high school diploma or equivalent preferred
previous experience in barback or similar hospitality role preferred
knowledge of safety and sanitation procedures
ability to work in a fast-paced environment
excellent communication and teamwork skills
basic understanding of alcohol awareness and responsible service
ability to follow instructions and company policies
strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Job Duties

deliver an unparalleled guest experience through the best combination of food, drinks, and games
keep immediate supervisor informed of problems or unusual matters
create a warm, fun atmosphere for guests and team members
follow alcohol awareness procedures to prevent intoxication and handle intoxicated guests
follow portion guidelines to ensure cost control while maximizing guest experience
check back after food delivery, maintain nonalcoholic drink levels, remove clutter, pre-buss as necessary, and respond to guest needs promptly
work quickly and efficiently adhering to full hands in, full hands out philosophy
deliver food to tables and ensure guests have everything they need
adhere to all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures
stock bars with garnishes, glassware, straws, and napkins
maintain bottle and keg beer pars during and after shift and maintain requisition sheets
ensure bar areas remain clean
empty trash and spot sweep floors
restock and prepare supplies for shift change or close
perform opening and closing responsibilities including party breakdown duties
assist in cleanliness and organization of all bar storage areas
assist in party setup of bars
assist in bar inventories as requested by management
participate in all incentives and contests driving sales and promoting the brand
assist other team members as needed or when business needs dictate
maintain a favorable working relationship with other team members to promote cooperation and high morale
