Job Requirements

Job Duties
- The Bar Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the bar area
- You will be essential in providing support to our Bartenders, allowing them to concentrate on delivering exceptional drink service and creating memorable experiences for our Guests
- Plays a key part in delivering excellent drink service that complements our food and entertainment, contributing to a fun and exciting atmosphere for our Guests
- Keeps the Bartender and immediate supervisor informed about any low stock levels, spills, or equipment malfunctions, taking immediate action or suggesting solutions
- Provides efficient assistance by promptly replenishing bar supplies, preparing garnishes, and ensuring ice levels are maintained, helping to minimize guest wait times
- Maintains a positive and helpful attitude while supporting the Bartenders and anticipating their needs during busy periods
- Assists with Guest inquiries by relaying information to the Bartender and ensuring the bar area is clean and well-organized for a positive Guest experience
- Supports the Bartender by quickly and efficiently retrieving ingredients, glassware, and other necessary items
- Ensures that empty glassware is collected and the bar area remains tidy throughout service
- Informs the Bartender or Manager of any Guest issues or concerns observed at the bar
- Adheres to all company policies and procedures regarding responsible alcohol service and safety regulations
- Responsible for stocking and organizing all bar-related supplies, including liquor, beer, wine, mixers, glassware, and garnishes, in designated storage locations
- Assists with periodic inventory counts of bar stock as needed
- Checks and replenishes all necessary bar supplies before, during, and after service
- Reports any shortages to the Manager
- Maintains the cleanliness and organization of the entire bar area, including counters, shelves, refrigerators, and storage areas
- Provides assistance to other team members as needed to ensure efficient overall operations
- Maintains positive working relationships with all Dave & Buster's team members to foster a supportive and productive work environment

- While performing the duties of a Bar Assistant, the team member will frequently need to:
- Be approachable and able to maintain a friendly and courteous manner, even during peak hours

- Thrive in a lively, fast-paced environment with a moderate to high noise level
- Be able to understand and effectively communicate instructions and information
- Be able to lift and carry items such as beverage cases, ice containers, and bus tubs, weighing up to 30 pounds
- Move efficiently within the bar area and stand for extended periods of time
- Be able to walk or stand for the entire duration of their scheduled shift
- Frequently reach, bend, stoop, lift, and wipe down surfaces to maintain a clean and well-stocked bar
