Job Requirements

  • Must have six months of full service restaurant, private club server, or banquet server experience
  • Must know basic service steps and have a good understanding of beverages
  • Must be punctual and able to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
  • Clothing must be clean, crisp, in good repair, and appropriate, including wearing a name tag
  • Hair must be clean and styled appropriately with management approval
  • Ability to follow safety procedures, especially when lifting heavy objects
  • Must complete side work before opening and maintain cleanliness
  • Attend pre-shift meetings and communicate effectively with management
  • Perform inventory tasks when assigned
  • Must be willing to take on other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

  • Six months of full service restaurant, private club, or banquet server experience
  • Good understanding of alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages
  • Knowledge of basic service steps including how to wait a table
  • Positive attitude with the ability to exceed member expectations
  • Ability to learn and follow safety procedures
  • Excellent communication skills and team player mentality
  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor

Job Duties

  • Be punctual at all times and arrive to work on time, consistently
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
  • Maintain a professional and welcoming demeanor with proper attire and grooming
  • Become proficient with appropriate equipment and safety features
  • Learn and adhere to all safety procedures, especially regarding lifting and carrying heavy objects
  • Complete all side work before opening and maintain cleanliness throughout the shift
  • Set up tables ensuring glassware, silverware, and linens are properly arranged and clean
  • Attend pre-shift meetings to stay informed about daily specials and other relevant information
  • Greet members and guests immediately with a smile and provide attentive service throughout their dining experience
  • Communicate effectively with Banquet Captain or Operations Manager regarding service status
  • Perform inventory tasks as assigned
  • Assist with other duties that enhance member service quality
  • Check out with management before leaving
  • Clean station and side work as required
