This full-time, non-management Food and Beverage position at Gaylord Rockies offers an hourly wage of $21.63 with eligibility for tips. The role is centered around maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and readiness of function and service areas within the hotel, crucial for ensuring that guests receive the high standards of service Gaylord Hotels are known for. The position involves completing final breakdowns of events by cleaning rooms and returning equipment, managing closing duties such as storing reusable goods and securing facilities, and setting up and stocking work areas for daily operations.
Responsibility for cleanliness and sanitation of assigned stations is an ongoing task throughout the shift, including practicing clean-as-you-go procedures. The role also requires transporting linens, separating napkins from tablecloths, and restocking linen shelves to ensure seamless service flow. Collaborating with other departments to meet service needs and maintaining a professional appearance consistent with company standards are integral to the position. Adhering to safety and security policies, reporting potential hazards, and completing necessary training and certifications are vital for a safe working environment.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period or entire shift
- Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance and heavier items with assistance
- Ability to reach overhead and below knees including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
- Ability to move over uneven or slippery surfaces and up and down stairs or ramps
- Ability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
- Willingness to complete safety training and certifications

Job Duties
- Complete final breakdown of function by cleaning the room and returning equipment to proper location
- Complete closing duties including storing reusable goods, locking doors, and breaking down goods
- Set up, stock, and maintain work areas
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned station and service areas
- Transport dirty linen to the correct area, separate napkins from tablecloths, and restock linen shelves with clean linens
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day by practicing clean-as-you-go procedures
- Assist other departments to ensure optimum service to guests
