  • Minimum two years experience as a bartender or bar back
  • Valid food handling certification
  • Valid RBS certification
  • Effective communication skills in English
  • Ability to produce legible communication
  • Basic math competency

Job Duties

  • Maintain complete knowledge of service requirements for assigned function
  • Maintain complete knowledge of and abide by state liquor regulations
  • Maintain correct maintenance and use of equipment
  • Obtain assigned bank and ensure accuracy of monies
  • Complete opening side duties including stock and supply set up
  • Greet guests and take orders using suggestive selling
  • Input and document orders accurately
  • Prepare and serve drinks according to specifications
  • Monitor cleanliness and organization of bar and service areas
  • Handle guest complaints to ensure satisfaction
  • Communicate replenishment needs promptly
  • Complete closing side duties including cleaning and securing supplies
  • Follow cash handling and credit procedures
  • Assist with inventories and maintenance as assigned
