Job Requirements

  • RBS certification prior to start
  • complete California Food Handler’s Card training upon hire
  • knowledge of NCR system
  • ability to handle cash responsibly
  • basic understanding of menu and drink recipes
  • strong communication skills
  • physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds
  • ability to balance cash bank daily
  • friendly and professional attitude
  • availability to work flexible shifts

Job Qualifications

  • maintain a warm and friendly demeanor
  • be attentive and courteous to guests and staff
  • serve guests professionally and courteously
  • respond to guest problems and communicate to management
  • set tables according to resort standards
  • maintain banquet storeroom in orderly manner
  • follow money handling procedures
  • use suggestive selling techniques
  • know menu items and give accurate descriptions
  • attend meetings and training
  • perform other duties as requested

Job Duties

  • Make drinks for servers and customers
  • act professionally while on duty
  • keep bar clean and stocked at all times
  • act as cashier managing a bank and checks
  • keep bank balanced daily
  • maintain knowledge of all drinks, recipes, and specials
  • complete pour tests as needed
  • fill requisitions and return to manager
  • tender and close out all server checks
  • run necessary NCR reports
  • have basic menu knowledge
  • service customers at bar and lounge
  • keep bar and lounge spotless
  • never leave bar unattended without coverage
  • answer phone and assist with customer questions or direct appropriately
