Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2-4 years of banquet, catering, or food and beverage service experience
  • prior supervisory or leadership experience
  • must meet minimum age requirements to serve alcohol based on local and state laws
  • ability to frequently lift and move up to 35 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
  • open availability for varying shifts
  • willingness to work on-call part-time basis

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
  • minimum of 2-4 years of banquet, catering, or food and beverage service experience
  • prior supervisory or leadership experience in banquet or event operations
  • knowledge of Point of Sale (POS) systems and event service processes
  • certification or training in alcohol management such as TIPS or TEAM
  • food handler certification may be required based on location

Job Duties

  • Monitor event setup, service execution, and breakdown to ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency
  • provide leadership and guidance to Banquet Captains and Servers during events
  • ensure compliance with Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and client specifications
  • oversee staffing and operational readiness for banquet and catered functions
  • actively participate in preparation, setup, service, breakdown, and cleanup activities
  • maintain safety and sanitation standards throughout events
  • resolve issues promptly to guarantee guest satisfaction
