Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 2-4 years of banquet, catering, or food and beverage service experience
- prior supervisory or leadership experience
- must meet minimum age requirements to serve alcohol based on local and state laws
- ability to frequently lift and move up to 35 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- open availability for varying shifts
- willingness to work on-call part-time basis
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- minimum of 2-4 years of banquet, catering, or food and beverage service experience
- prior supervisory or leadership experience in banquet or event operations
- knowledge of Point of Sale (POS) systems and event service processes
- certification or training in alcohol management such as TIPS or TEAM
- food handler certification may be required based on location
Job Duties
- Monitor event setup, service execution, and breakdown to ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency
- provide leadership and guidance to Banquet Captains and Servers during events
- ensure compliance with Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and client specifications
- oversee staffing and operational readiness for banquet and catered functions
- actively participate in preparation, setup, service, breakdown, and cleanup activities
- maintain safety and sanitation standards throughout events
- resolve issues promptly to guarantee guest satisfaction
