Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years culinary experience preferably in banquet or large-scale operations
  • Ability to lead and supervise kitchen staff
  • Proficiency in maintaining sanitation and food safety standards
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Availability to work full-time including weekends and holidays
  • Good physical stamina for kitchen environment

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience
  • Prior experience in banquet or large-scale food service operations
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • Experience with inventory management and ordering processes

Job Duties

  • Overseeing all kitchen productions for scheduled shifts
  • Following and maintaining quality standards set by Executive Banquet Chef
  • Assisting Executive Banquet Chef with food presentation, decoration, and display
  • Assisting Executive Banquet Chef with guiding and mentoring staff by encouraging mutual respect, trust, and cooperation
  • Assisting Executive Banquet Chef with employee performance appraisals and corrective actions
  • Maintaining proper sanitation standards and temperature logs
  • Assisting Executive Banquet Chef with prep sheets, BEO's, inventory, scheduling, ordering and receiving
  • Participating in weekly F&B and BEO meetings
