Specifically, the Banquet Setup Attendant role at The Essex Resort & Spa is essential in orchestrating seamless banquet events. This position involves preparing and breaking down banquet rooms according to detailed diagrams, including draping tables, arranging chairs, setting up audiovisual equipment, and ensuring cleanliness throughout the event space. As a Banquet Setup Attendant, you will be responsible for the physical setup and breakdown of banquet events, which includes handling linens, trash removal, vacuuming, and equipment storage. Interacting courteously with guests is a key part of the role, as is promptly reporting any hazardous conditions or equipment issues to management.
