The Banquet Server role at Spanish Hills Club offers an exciting opportunity to engage directly with members and guests, delivering exceptional service at various club events and private functions. This position is responsible for ensuring a flawless dining experience by efficiently serving food and beverages, anticipating guest needs, and maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor throughout each event. The role demands a high level of customer service, teamwork, and attention to detail, offering an environment where dedication and performance are recognized and rewarded.

As a Banquet Server, you will assist in the full setup and breakdown of banquet areas, ensure clear communication of food and beverage orders, and maintain impeccable cleanliness standards consistent with health and safety regulations. You will play a pivotal role in creating memorable experiences by responding promptly to guests' requests and any concerns, managing multiple tasks efficiently while upholding the club's standards of excellence. This position requires physical stamina, as servers must be comfortable standing for extended periods and capable of lifting between 50 to 75 pounds.

Job Requirements

  • Ability to lift 50-75 pounds
  • Ability to stand and remain comfortable on feet for entire shift
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to maintain composure under pressure
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Availability to work at Spanish Hills Club location

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in banquet or event serving preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality service
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Positive attitude and adaptability in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Assist with the complete setup and breakdown of the banquet area
  • Relay food and beverage orders
  • Maintain a high level of cleanliness and awareness of sanitary practices
  • Anticipate guests’ needs and exceed customer service expectations
  • Maintain composure in a fast-paced environment
  • Relay important information about orders, allergies and special requests to the appropriate person
  • Respond urgently and appropriately to any concerns
  • Present in professional appearance and mannerisms
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department
