Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in banquet or food service
- Open availability including weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service
Job Qualifications
- Previous hotel banquet experience
- Customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food and beverage service standards
- Teamwork and communication skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
- Basic understanding of health and safety standards
Job Duties
- Set banquet tables to meet function specifications
- Deliver and serve food and beverages including meals, condiments, and accompaniments
- Ensure menu knowledge
- Remove china, glassware, and silverware from tables after meals
- Ensure guest satisfaction throughout meal service
- Respond to guest requests in a timely and friendly manner
- Assist team members and other departments as needed with side work such as cleaning and stocking
