Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in banquet or food service
  • Open availability including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service

Job Qualifications

  • Previous hotel banquet experience
  • Customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service standards
  • Teamwork and communication skills
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
  • Basic understanding of health and safety standards

Job Duties

  • Set banquet tables to meet function specifications
  • Deliver and serve food and beverages including meals, condiments, and accompaniments
  • Ensure menu knowledge
  • Remove china, glassware, and silverware from tables after meals
  • Ensure guest satisfaction throughout meal service
  • Respond to guest requests in a timely and friendly manner
  • Assist team members and other departments as needed with side work such as cleaning and stocking
