Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year banquet or fine dining serving experience
  • Previous experience with standard table sets and serving etiquette
  • Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing in English
  • Ability to work well with co-workers
  • Ability to compute accurate mathematical calculations
  • Familiarity with banquet event orders and banquet room sets
  • Ability to think clearly and make concise decisions
  • Ability to prioritize and follow up tasks
  • Ability to handle stressful situations
  • Experience in handling beverages
  • Currently hold active TABC certification
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Physical capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand or walk for entire work shifts indoors and outdoors

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year banquet or fine dining serving experience
  • Previous experience with standard table sets and serving etiquette
  • Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate verbally and in writing in English
  • Ability to work cohesively with co-workers
  • Ability to compute accurate mathematical calculations and have previous cash handling experience
  • Familiarity with banquet event orders (BEOs), banquet checks, and banquet room sets
  • Ability to think clearly and make concise decisions
  • Ability to prioritize, organize and follow up
  • Ability to handle stressful situations while maintaining a calm demeanor
  • Experience in handling beverages
  • Must be actively TABC certified
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Physical ability to move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods

Job Duties

  • Perform all banquet side work as designated by the banquet captain and/or banquet managers
  • Efficiently and properly perform all service standards
  • Attend to all needs of the guests during functions and function related duties
  • Report to the banquet manager any need for housekeeping and/or repairs of and banquet equipment
  • Assist in the upkeep and organization of all liquor liability laws
  • Be familiar with and adhere to all liquor liability laws
  • Attend all designated pre-meal meetings
  • Follow all details as described on banquet event orders (BEO’s)
  • Set tables to specifications, carry trays, and provide excellent customer service
  • Complete other duties as assigned by management
