Job Requirements

  • Previous server experience preferably in hotels or banquet settings
  • Strong work ethic and service orientation
  • Ability to memorize and recite menu items
  • Knowledge of proper table settings and service ware
  • Proficient in English communication
  • Basic mathematical ability
  • Ability to walk, stand, sit, bend, and reach for extended periods
  • ServSafe certification
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Flexible work schedule
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • Three to five years experience in banquet, hotel, restaurant, lounge, special events, or barista service
  • Ability to work independently and follow responsibility guidelines
  • Capable of setting up, breaking down, and leading small teams
  • Strong communication and customer service skills

Job Duties

  • Ensuring banquet room setup as directed by banquet management
  • Attending roll call meetings before events to understand function details
  • Serving food and beverages promptly, maintaining product quality
  • Clearing dishes discreetly and efficiently after each course
  • Checking with guests during meals to ensure satisfaction
  • Resetting banquet rooms for subsequent functions
  • Performing side work such as restocking supplies and cleaning up
