Job Requirements

  • Minimum legal age to serve alcoholic beverages
  • At least 1-year experience in banquet food service at a luxury venue
  • Ability to read and follow Banquet Event Orders accurately
  • Knowledge of diverse food service styles
  • Good communication skills in English

  • Ability to listen and understand spoken information

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum age to serve alcoholic beverages
  • 1-year experience in banquet food service at a luxury venue
  • Proficient with reading and interpreting Banquet Event Orders
  • Understanding of floor plan descriptions
  • Knowledge of various food service styles
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English with guests, management, and co-workers
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
  • Availability to work holidays, weekends, evenings, and periods of high demand
  • Excellent guest service skills

Job Duties

  • Maintain complete knowledge of service requirements for assigned functions including menu details, floor plans, and guest information
  • Attend pre-function meetings and review all pertinent information
  • Assist with event preparation, setup, and closing including arranging tables, glassware, and buffets
  • Circulate the room with appetizers and beverages and provide attentive guest service
  • Take orders and communicate special instructions to kitchen and bar accurately
  • Serve food and beverages according to standards and guest requests in a timely manner
  • Maintain cleanliness and stock levels at the assigned service station throughout the event
  • Handle guest complaints promptly and escalate to management when necessary
  • Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation standards consistently
  • Assist with final breakdown and cleanup of function rooms
  • Promote positive guest relations and assist with inquiries regarding hotel services and local attractions
  • Maintain personal appearance and professionalism at all times
  • Report any unsafe conditions, accidents, or found items to appropriate personnel
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors
