Job Requirements
- One to five years previous food and beverage serving experience
- Must have or be able to obtain Kansas City liquor license
- Ability to read, speak, write and understand English sufficiently to communicate with guests
- Ability to remember, recite, and promote menu items
- Strong knowledge of service standards and guest relations
- Working knowledge of table settings and menu items
Job Qualifications
- One to five years previous food and beverage serving experience
- Must have or be able to obtain Kansas City liquor license
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette
- Working knowledge of appropriate table settings, service-ware, and menu items
- Ability to read, speak, write and understand English sufficiently to understand menus, special promotions, and communicate with guests
- Ability to remember, recite, and promote the entire variety of menu items
Job Duties
- Make the function space visually appealing for events
- Present menu offerings accurately and professionally
- Set tables including linens and proper service ware
- Design and maintain food stations during events
- Provide efficient beverage service
- Assist with general banquet preparation and room refreshes
- Maintain a clean and sanitary environment throughout events
