Job Description
The Fairway Inn & Suites, previously known as Par 5 Resort, is a distinguished hospitality destination located in Mishicot, Wisconsin, just 35 minutes from Green Bay. Recently acquired by new owners and management, this resort is poised for an exciting transformation while maintaining its reputation for breathtaking views, picturesque golf fairways, and a unique scenic location that appeals to both leisure and event guests. This property blends the charm of a relaxing resort with the vibrancy of a culturally rich community atmosphere, catering to travelers seeking both tranquility and engaging experiences. The resort emphasizes creating not just memorable guest experiences but also building a positive and respectful workplace culture that values each team member. It is part of the larger S&L Hospitality group, which is known for fostering family-like relationships among its staff and maintaining a strong commitment to employee growth and well-being. The Fairway Inn & Suites is seeking to expand its banquet service team, offering an exciting employment opportunity that blends direct guest interaction with event setup responsibilities. This hybrid role is ideal for candidates who thrive in dynamic environments and have previous serving experience, particularly in event or fine dining contexts. Those who are capable of working independently, problem solving under pressure, and maintaining a professional demeanor will find this position rewarding and full of growth opportunities. Scheduled shifts can vary widely, from early morning at 6am to late evening at 11pm, including required availability on weekends and holidays to accommodate the resort's diverse event schedule. This role offers the chance to be part of a high-energy team that is dedicated to providing exceptional banquet and event experiences to guests, while also supporting the logistical and operational needs of event setups and teardowns. Team members will play a crucial part in ensuring that each event meets the highest standards of service, comfort, and professionalism, contributing directly to the positive reputation of the resort and its parent company. Joining the banquet service team means becoming part of a workplace culture that values attention to detail, service excellence, and teamwork, supported by a management team that prioritizes employee support and development. With the resort's focus on continuous improvement and guest satisfaction, new employees will have access to valuable training and development opportunities designed to enhance their professional skills and open pathways for career advancement within the regional properties of S&L Hospitality. Benefits include competitive pay and potential eligibility for 401(k) with company matching after six months, paid time off starting from day one, flexible scheduling, holiday pay, and travel discounts across the hospitality group's various brands. This role is also subject to a background check to ensure a safe and trustworthy workplace for all team members and guests. Overall, the Fairway Inn & Suites' Banquet Server and Setup team member position promises a fulfilling hospitality career in a scenic and supportive environment, ideal for individuals passionate about delivering exceptional service and contributing to successful events.
