Job Requirements

  • Ability to lift, push, pull 40 lbs or more
  • flexible schedule to meet business needs
  • task-driven individual able to focus on ensuring completion of each event's work order
  • basic knowledge of AV equipment preferred
  • ability to maintain a composed, gracious and professional attitude
  • strong attention to detail
  • knowledge of food safety and hygiene protocols
  • ability to stand, walk, bend at waist, grasp and carry for extended periods

Job Duties

  • Oversees the set up and break down process for each event's work order
  • accommodate and anticipate guests needs, respond promptly and professionally
  • ensure proper use, storage, and maintenance of AV equipment and banquet room items
  • assists with all aspects of banquet services as needed
  • process and collect payments, accurately adhering to all cashier procedures
  • maintains a high level of cleanliness and organization
  • greets customers as they are seated at the table
  • ensures the table is clean and that utensils, napkins, and other needs have been provided
  • distributes menus and presents the daily specials
  • answers questions regarding the menu
  • takes food and beverage orders and delivers them to the kitchen
  • delivers food, beverages, condiments, and other requested items to customers
  • ensures that food is prepared correctly and to customers' satisfaction
  • returns incorrect or improperly cooked orders to kitchen
  • collects plates and clears the table as customers finish their meals
  • prepares customers' checks and collects payments
  • assists with other restaurant tasks such as cleaning the dining area and preparing silverware and condiments
