Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid bartending license
  • Knowledge of state and federal alcohol service laws
  • Ability to stand and move for extended periods
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Good physical condition to handle setup and breakdown tasks

Job Qualifications

  • Bartending license
  • ServSafe Alcohol Awareness certification preferred
  • Previous experience in banquet or event service preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
  • High level of customer service orientation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Check banquet event orders to determine function details including guest count and bar type
  • Set up banquet bar with linen, service ware, and glassware as instructed by supervisor
  • Attend roll call meetings to learn event particulars and expectations
  • Serve food and beverages promptly and consistently as per supervisor guidelines
  • Set up portable bar according to standard policies and procedures
  • Make and serve drinks to guests in a courteous and timely manner while following beverage and safety regulations
  • Remove trash and liquor glasses, clean and break down bar area after events
  • Reset banquet room according to specifications after event completion
