Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in banquet or food service preferred
- strong communication skills
- physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- basic knowledge of POS systems
- excellent customer service skills

Job Duties
- Welcome guests with a friendly greeting and a smile
- present menu, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food and service
- deliver food orders to guests in a timely and courteous manner
- relay and/or enter order into POS system for the kitchen and serve courses from kitchen and/or bar
- observe guests to fulfill any additional requests and to perceive when meal has been completed
- may assist kitchen staff by ladling soup, tossing salad, portioning desserts, brewing coffee, and performing other services as determined by the needs of the restaurant
- clear and reset counters and tables at the conclusion of each guest
- maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures
- perform opening and closing duties
- work with the hotel team to create and deliver a memorable service experience for guests
