The banquet server will be responsible for setting up and breaking down event spaces according to Banquet Event Orders, which include arranging linens, place settings, and audio/visual equipment, ensuring that everything is flawlessly in place. The server will also serve food and beverages with attention to timing, presentation, and overall guest satisfaction, maintaining clean and organized banquet areas throughout the event. Supporting the event contact and managing guest needs professionally is a key part of this job, as is adhering to strict food safety, sanitation, and company policies to create a safe environment. The role demands physical endurance, including the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and flexibility in schedule to include early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Job Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months serving experience for medium to large groups
  • Food Safety certification or complete training within first 90 days
  • Alcohol certification or complete training within first 90 days
  • Ability to lift pull and push up to 50 lbs bend and squat repeatedly and stand walk for entire shift
  • Flexible availability including early mornings evenings nights weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Food Safety certification or willingness to complete training within first 90 days
  • Alcohol certification or willingness to complete training within first 90 days
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Set up event spaces per banquet event orders including linens settings and A/V equipment
  • break down event spaces after functions
  • serve food and beverages focusing on timing presentation and guest satisfaction
  • maintain clean and organized banquet areas throughout event cycle
  • manage guest needs professionally supporting event contact
  • follow food safety sanitation and company policies
  • assist with general event support tasks as needed
