Job Description

Our hiring establishment is a distinguished hospitality provider known for delivering exceptional banquet services aligned with sustainability and guest satisfaction standards. We specialize in managing and executing seamless banquet events that meet the highest quality standards while adhering to environmentally responsible practices through our EarthView program. As a company, we are dedicated to excellence in guest service, advocating safe work habits, and fostering an environment where individuals can grow their careers through a clearly defined progression from Banquet Captain to Assistant Banquet Manager and ultimately Banquet Manager. We believe in empowering our employees with the necessary tools and continuous learning opportunities to excel and uphold our core values - People Are Our Capability, Hearts That Serve, Only Excellence, Stay Nimble, and Own It.

The role of a Banquet Server is pivotal in the successful delivery of banquet events. This position primarily involves setting up banquet rooms according to supervisor instructions while ensuring all arrangements meet established guest service and sustainability standards. The Banquet Server will attend roll call meetings to understand event particulars, including guest expectations and hotel requirements. The duties include serving food and beverages in a consistent manner, replenishing drinks as needed, and promptly clearing dishes to maintain a smooth flow of service. The role also demands excellent guest interaction skills, as servers must respond to special requests and resolve any complaints effectively and promptly. Compliance with all relevant state, federal, and corporate requirements related to serving alcoholic beverages is essential. Safety is a high priority, requiring adherence to MSDS and OSHA standards while practicing safe work habits, including the use of protective equipment. This is a dynamic role that involves physical activity such as standing, walking, lifting, and other movements necessary to provide top-notch service. The work schedule is varied and may include holidays and weekends, reflecting the nature of banquet operations. This position is ideal for individuals looking to build a rewarding career in hospitality with opportunities for advancement and skill development.
