The role of the On-Call Banquet Bartender/Server is integral to the success of banquet events hosted by White Lodging’s premium properties. This position is designed for individuals who excel in fast-paced environments and are committed to delivering high levels of service with professionalism and warmth. As a Banquet Bartender/Server, the individual is responsible for preparing and serving a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages at catered events, which include weddings, corporate functions, and other special occasions. The role requires the individual to manage various tasks such as setting up banquet tables, buffets, bars, and snack areas while ensuring all arrangements meet the high standards expected by the company and guests.

This position offers advanced scheduling flexibility, allowing associates to easily swap or pick up shifts through a handy app, thus supporting work-life balance and the pursuit of passion within the food and beverage industry. The Banquet Bartender/Server must be knowledgeable about menu items, preparation methods, and proper garnishes to accurately respond to guest inquiries and enhance the overall guest experience. Job Duties

  • Responsible for the successful set-up, service, clean-up, and tear-down of banquet events
  • Set tables, buffets, bars, and snack breaks in assigned areas correctly and accurately
  • Professionally serve food and beverages butler-style, tableside, and from buffets
  • Monitor tables, buffets, and breaks to keep them clean, stocked, and visually appealing
  • Assist other members of the banquet team to deliver a phenomenal event that exceeds guest expectations
  • Be an ambassador of the hotel by maintaining a neat and professional appearance
  • Anticipate guest needs and offer exemplary hospitality while always exhibiting professionalism and friendliness
  • Be knowledgeable of all menu items, contents, preparation methods, and garnishes
  • accurately answer any guest questions
  • Perform all cleaning, opening, and closing duties as assigned
  • Perform other duties as assigned
