The position available is for a Guest Event Expert at the Dearborn Inn. This role is more than just serving guests at banquets or events; it’s about creating a memorable and unique experience for each guest. The Guest Event Expert plays a critical role in ensuring that events run smoothly from start to finish. Responsibilities include setting up and breaking down event materials, transporting supplies, taking orders, and directly interacting with guests to make every transaction a part of the overall experience. This hands-on position requires the employee to be actively moving around the event space, standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, and handling objects weighing up to 50 pounds safely without assistance.

Success in this role involves creating a safe and welcoming environment, adhering to company policies and procedures, maintaining high-quality standards, and presenting a professional appearance and demeanor. Though no supervisory experience is required, the ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED equivalent and some related work experience, preferably in a server or event support capacity. This is a full-time, non-management position offering a pay rate of $9.25 per hour plus gratuity.
