With a focus on innovation, continuous improvement, and a people-centered approach, the company has established a respected presence in the hospitality industry, attracting dedicated professionals who strive to excel in their careers.

The role of a Banquet Server at HHM Hotels involves setting up banquet rooms and serving food and beverages in accordance with established guest service and sustainability standards. This position offers a dynamic work environment where attention to detail, guest satisfaction, and teamwork are paramount. As a Banquet Server, you will be expected to prepare banquet rooms following precise instructions, ensuring that the setup meets the expectations for each function. Prior to events, attending roll call meetings is crucial to understand specific details, including guest requirements and hotel standards.

During events, Banquet Servers are responsible for delivering food and beverages in a consistent, orderly manner as directed by supervisors, replenishing beverages when needed, and regularly checking on guests to ensure their satisfaction. Removing dishes promptly after each course and at the conclusion of the meal helps maintain a smooth flow and an enjoyable guest experience. Responding to special guest requests and resolving any complaints professionally is a key aspect of this role, highlighting the importance of strong interpersonal skills. Compliance with all applicable state, federal, and corporate requirements concerning alcoholic beverage service is mandatory, emphasizing the company’s commitment to safety and legal adherence.

The position also requires safe work habits, including wearing protective safety equipment and following Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines. Additional duties may be assigned by management, providing opportunities to learn and grow within the company. HHM Hotels offers a clear growth path for dedicated team members through roles such as Banquet Captain, Assistant Banquet Manager, and Banquet Manager.

The Banquet Server position at HHM Hotels is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking to build a career in hospitality with a company that values excellence, nimbleness, and ownership. The work environment is varied, with schedules that include holidays and weekends. The physical nature of the role requires standing for extended periods, walking, lifting up to 35 pounds, and performing various physical movements such as bending, stooping, and kneeling.

In return for your dedication and service, HHM Hotels provides competitive wages for both full-time and part-time employees, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision health insurance, paid time off, and a 401(k) company match to help secure your financial future. Additionally, the company supports employees with a daily pay option, free basic life insurance, 24/7 access to TELUS Health for confidential work-life resources, travel discounts, commuter transit and parking benefits, employee assistance and wellness programs, educational and professional development opportunities, and a referral bonus program.

At HHM Hotels, the core values "People Are Our Capability," "Hearts That Serve," "Only Excellence," "Stay Nimble," and "Own It" guide the company culture and commitment to service.
