Sodexo is currently seeking a part-time Banquet Server to join the team at T-MOBILE PARK, a popular venue for sports and entertainment events. This role offers an hourly wage ranging from $21.80 to $23.75, depending on experience and qualifications. As a Banquet Server, you will play an essential role in delivering exceptional food and beverage service to guests attending various events such as meetings, receptions, luncheons, dinners, and special functions. The position requires flexibility with shift schedules, preferring candidates with open availability to accommodate varying event days and hours.
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting a wide range of service styles, from casual buffets to formal plated meals and passed service, always focused on creating a positive and memorable guest experience. Working under the guidance of a Banquet Captain and Banquet Supervisor, you will actively participate in all phases of event service, including setup, execution, and breakdown. Your duties will emphasize professionalism, attentiveness, and timeliness, as these are critical components to successful event delivery. Additionally, the role necessitates the ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in service areas, assist with resetting tables, and uphold presentation standards throughout the event.
Physical stamina is a must, as the job involves frequently lifting and moving items weighing up to 35 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds. Regular attendance and punctuality are expected to ensure smooth operation during scheduled shifts. The position may also require adherence to alcohol-serving regulations, including maintaining valid certifications such as TIPS or TEAM, as well as food handler certifications depending on local laws.
