Job Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred
Previous banquet, catering, food service, or hospitality experience preferred
Must meet minimum age requirements to serve alcohol based on local and state regulations
Must maintain a valid TIPS, TEAM, or equivalent alcohol-service certification and comply with all state-specific alcohol training requirements
Food handler certification may be required based on state or local regulations

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

Provide food and beverage services to guests attending catered events
Support various service styles including casual buffets, formal plated meals, and passed service
Work under the direction of the Banquet Captain and Banquet Supervisor
Participate in event setup, service execution, and breakdown
Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, service stations, and work areas
Clear tables and reset place settings
Assist with maintaining presentation standards
Frequently lift and move up to 35 pounds
Occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds
Attend work and show for scheduled shifts on time
Perform other duties as assigned based on business necessities and client requirements
