Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 months experience in high volume restaurant or banquet services
  • Familiarity with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham or Hyatt service standards preferred
  • Ability to understand and follow Catering and Food Service protocols
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to read and comprehend BEOs
  • Physical capability to lift, push, pull, and carry banquet-related equipment and supplies
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and teamwork skills
  • Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Set up banquet functions safely and efficiently following BEO instructions
  • Provide warm and knowledgeable service to guests during events
  • Maintain cleanliness and neatness of buffet stations and banquet areas
  • Assist in breaking down banquet setups and proper equipment storage
  • Greet and serve guests in accordance with hotel service policies
  • Complete assigned documentation for each event
  • Organize and restock banquet service products during downtime
