The Part-Time Bartender role at Four Points is a vital position that elevates the guest experience in the buzzing airport lounge, particularly during peak evening hours from 4 PM to 11 PM. The Part-Time Bartender’s responsibilities are comprehensive, ranging from the craftsmanship of perfect pours and cocktail preparation to maintaining inventory and cleanliness behind the bar. Beyond drink service, the role involves food order management, ensuring that guests enjoy a seamless bar-to-table experience. Compliance with legal guidelines regarding alcohol service is a key part of the job, ensuring a safe, responsible environment for all patrons. This position requires a minimum of 1 to 2 years of bartending experience, with a preference for those who have worked in hotel or busy airport environments. Familiarity with classic cocktails, wine service, and craft beer is essential, as well as the ability to multitask efficiently during peak periods. Punctuality, reliability, and an active certification such as TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol (or the ability to obtain one before starting) are mandatory. Physical stamina is necessary to stand for hours and lift items such as kegs and glass racks safely.

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
  • Reliable and punctual with consistent attendance

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to Marriott and Four Points brand standards with a focus on the Best Brews local craft beer program
  • Provide honest, uncomplicated comfort to guests through friendly conversation and anticipatory service
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar
  • Perform opening and closing duties including drawer reconciliation and inventory counts
  • Take food orders for the lounge menu and ensure accurate delivery for a seamless bar-to-table experience
  • Verify identification to comply with legal drinking age and monitor guest consumption for safety
  • Handle guest concerns and special requests efficiently to ensure guest satisfaction
