We are currently hiring talented and dedicated Banquet Servers to join our esteemed team on a part-time and on-call basis. This role is essential in ensuring the seamless execution of special events, banquets, weddings, meetings, and other private functions hosted at the club. Banquet Servers at Colleton River Club are responsible for delivering warm and gracious hospitality to our members and their guests, maintaining high standards of service etiquette, and contributing to an unforgettable dining and event experience. The hourly pay rate for this position is $20.00, recognizing the skill and professionalism required in banquet service.
As a Banquet Server, you will collaborate closely with bartenders, chefs, event coordinators, and other hospitality staff to provide timely, efficient, and personalized service tailored to each event's unique needs. Success in this role requires keen attention to detail, excellent interpersonal communication, a polished appearance, and the ability to respond proactively to guest requests and concerns. You will be instrumental in setting up banquet areas, serving food and beverages using proper techniques, maintaining cleanliness and organization, and adhering strictly to club policies, especially around alcohol service, safety, and service standards.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- One to two years related experience in fine dining or banquet service
- Knowledge of wine, spirits, and food
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions
- Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Punctuality and reliable attendance

Job Duties
- Setup and preparation of banquet areas including tables, chairs, linens, silverware, and glassware according to event specifications
- Provide prompt, efficient, and personalized banquet service adhering to proper etiquette and presentation standards
- Interact professionally with guests addressing needs and inquiries promptly
- Collaborate with banquet servers, bartenders, chefs, and event coordinators to ensure seamless event execution
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet areas maintaining hygiene and sanitation standards
- Handle guest concerns and complaints professionally escalating issues when necessary
- Adhere to club policies on service, alcohol, safety, and conduct
- Perform other duties as assigned
