Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous experience in banquet, catering, or food service preferred
- Must meet minimum age requirements to serve alcohol based on local and state laws
- Must maintain valid alcohol-service certification such as TIPS or TEAM
- Food handler certification may be required
- Ability to frequently lift and move up to 35 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Punctuality and reliable attendance for scheduled shifts
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred
- Previous banquet, catering, food service, or hospitality experience preferred
- Ability to comply with local and state regulations for serving alcohol
- Maintain valid TIPS, TEAM, or equivalent alcohol-service certification
- Food handler certification may be required based on regulations
Job Duties
- Provide food and beverage services to guests attending catered events
- Support various service styles including casual buffets, formal plated meals, and passed service
- Work under direction of Banquet Captain and Supervisor
- Participate actively in event setup, service execution, and breakdown
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, service stations, and work areas during events
- Clear tables and reset place settings
- Assist with maintaining presentation standards
