The role of Banquet Server at Sodexo is based at the Music Center (PACLAC) and offers both full-time and part-time positions, paying $30 per hour. This position involves providing exemplary food and beverage service during a variety of catered events, such as meetings, receptions, luncheons, dinners, and special functions. Banquet Servers at Sodexo support multiple service styles, from casual buffet settings to formal plated meals and passed servings. Working under the direction of the Banquet Captain and Banquet Supervisor, the Banquet Server's responsibilities include event setup, service execution, and cleanup, ensuring that guests receive attentive, professional, and timely service. This role demands excellent organizational skills to maintain cleanliness and service stations, the physical ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds occasionally, and the flexibility to work varying shifts with open availability preferred.
