Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous experience in banquet or food service preferred
- Able to lift and move up to 35 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally
- Must be legally eligible to serve alcohol and meet age requirements
- Valid TIPS, TEAM or equivalent certification required
- Food handler certification may be required
- Must be punctual and reliable
- Open availability for varying shifts
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred
- Previous banquet, catering, food service, or hospitality experience preferred
- Must meet minimum age requirements to serve alcohol based on local and state regulations
- Must maintain a valid TIPS, TEAM, or equivalent alcohol-service certification and comply with all state-specific alcohol training requirements
- Food handler certification may be required based on state or local regulations
Job Duties
- Provide food and beverage services to guests during catered events
- Support various service styles including casual buffets, formal plated meals, and passed service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, service stations, and work areas during events
- Clear tables, reset place settings, and assist with maintaining presentation standards
- Assist with event setup, execution, and breakdown under the direction of banquet supervisors
- Lift and move items weighing up to 35 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Attend scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity
