This position is for a part-time Banquet Server at Hard Rock Stadium, a premier sports and entertainment venue. The role offers a competitive hourly wage of $15 and involves varied shifts, requiring open availability to accommodate different event schedules. As a Banquet Server with Sodexo, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional food and beverage services during a wide range of events such as concerts, sporting events, receptions, luncheons, dinners, and special functions hosted at the stadium. Your responsibilities will encompass supporting several styles of service, including casual buffets, formal plated meals, and passed hors d'oeuvres, ensuring each guest experiences timely and professional service.

Working closely with Banquet Captains and Supervisors, you will be integral in the setup, execution, and breakdown of events, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation throughout. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous experience in banquet or food service preferred
  • Able to lift and move up to 35 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally
  • Must be legally eligible to serve alcohol and meet age requirements
  • Valid TIPS, TEAM or equivalent certification required
  • Food handler certification may be required
  • Must be punctual and reliable
  • Open availability for varying shifts

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred
  • Previous banquet, catering, food service, or hospitality experience preferred
  • Must meet minimum age requirements to serve alcohol based on local and state regulations
  • Must maintain a valid TIPS, TEAM, or equivalent alcohol-service certification and comply with all state-specific alcohol training requirements
  • Food handler certification may be required based on state or local regulations

Job Duties

  • Provide food and beverage services to guests during catered events
  • Support various service styles including casual buffets, formal plated meals, and passed service
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, service stations, and work areas during events
  • Clear tables, reset place settings, and assist with maintaining presentation standards
  • Assist with event setup, execution, and breakdown under the direction of banquet supervisors
  • Lift and move items weighing up to 35 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Attend scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity
