The Banquet Server role at American Golf is a dynamic position vital to ensuring that special events and functions run smoothly and that guests receive top-tier service throughout their experience. This role focuses on greeting, assisting, and serving guests and members during banquet events held at Anaheim Hills Golf Course. A successful candidate will be customer-focused, demonstrating excellent communication skills, a polished demeanor, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role involves careful coordination with Banquet Managers and other team members to set up banquet rooms, serve beverages and courses in proper order, and maintain a clean and organized service area. The position requires the physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods and the ability to handle lifting moderately heavy items such as trays and service carts. The role is flexible with scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as events demand. Compensation for this position is competitive at a rate of $17.50 per hour, reflecting the responsibilities and skill level required to deliver exceptional banquet service that enhances the American Golf experience for all guests and members. Job Duties
- Assist Banquet Managers in welcoming, serving, and providing a positive experience to members and guests during banquet functions
- Setup banquet room as requested by the supervisor to include glassware, service ware, and linen
- Attend roll call meetings prior to banquet kick off to learn responsibilities and expectations
- Serve beverages and menu courses in appropriate order
- Remove plates, service ware, and glassware as guests and members finish their courses
- Abide by all corporate act, laws and requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages
- Replenish beverages when necessary and check with guests and members to ensure they are satisfied
- Perform other related functions that may be assigned
