The role of a Banquet Server within our team is integral to the success of each event. As a Banquet Server, you will be responsible for setting up banquet spaces according to event layouts, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, silverware, and glassware, as well as decorating areas to match event themes or guidelines. On the event day, you will be tasked with serving plated meals or managing buffet stations efficiently and delivering beverages promptly, including wines and cocktails. A key aspect of your role involves responding to guests' needs and requests with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring every guest experiences exceptional service.
Coordination plays a crucial part in the Banquet Server’s duties; you will collaborate closely with event coordinators, kitchen staff, and other servers to maintain smooth service flow and communicate any guest concerns or special requests to supervisors effectively. After or between courses, you will be responsible for clearing tables and managing cleanup activities, including packing away decorations and equipment while maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the event space. Safety and compliance are paramount, and you will adhere to health and safety regulations, proper food handling procedures, and alcohol-serving laws to guarantee a safe environment for guests and staff.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in food service or event catering is an advantage but not always required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to carry and balance trays of food and drinks
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Capability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
- Stamina to work in fast-paced environments, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
