The Banquet Server role at Wine & Roses is an integral position within the catering and banquet team, responsible for delivering high-quality service to guests during catering events. Focused on professionalism, warmth, and anticipation of guest needs, the Banquet Server ensures that clients enjoy a seamless and memorable experience. Working as a Banquet Server means being part of a dynamic team that values attention to detail, guest satisfaction, and hospitality excellence. The position carries an hourly wage of $16.90 with additional service charges, averaging between $30.00 and $35.00 per hour, providing a competitive compensation package. During events, Banquet Servers are responsible for setting up and breaking down event spaces, maintaining cleanliness, organization, and stocking of banquet areas, and executing front-of-house, back-of-house, and side work duties essential to the success of events. Job Requirements

  • At least 2 years food service experience
  • Ability to work well in a team environment by being a supportive team member that contributes to the banquet departmental goals
  • Is effective at working multiple priorities and tasks, working under stress, time management and exercise good judgment with guest and employee situations and challenges
  • Must have flexibility in performing different job roles within the department
  • Good interpersonal skills and perform simple problem solving
  • Work varying schedules to reflect the business needs including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation

Job Duties

  • Responsible for the set up and take down of all catering events
  • Address any guest concerns promptly and professionally
  • Anticipate guests’ needs and a sense of urgency throughout every shift
  • Maintain cleanliness, stocking, and organization of all banquet areas
  • Perform back of the house, front of the house, and side work duties for overall success of our events
