Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be available to work during Texas A&M football games, Ring Days, graduations, and other special event dates
  • Ability to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift 35 lbs. or more
  • Strong communication skills
  • Willingness to provide excellent guest service
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Must pass background check and drug screening

Job Duties

  • Set up banquet rooms including dropping tables, setting silverware, folding napkins, preparing drinks, and placing table centerpieces
  • Serve food and beverages by picking up from back hall, carrying trays to function location, serving and clearing food from tables
  • Bus tables, put away dirty linen and centerpieces, vacuum banquet rooms after events
  • Clean and organize storerooms and back hall areas
  • Perform food and beverage preparation duties such as preparing condiments and brewing coffee
  • Remove dishes, glasses, silverware from tables and take them to the kitchen
  • Clean and sanitize tables, counters, and seats after guests finish
  • Provide general property information and offer warm and sincere welcomes and farewells to guests
  • Interact professionally with staff, assisting other departments as needed
  • Go above and beyond to give guests the best experience possible
