The Banquet Server role is an essential position within our team, responsible for contributing to the success of our events by delivering exceptional food and beverage service to guests. This role demands a cheerful, friendly attitude and the ability to efficiently serve food following the established service sequence and standards laid out in the training manual. Banquet Servers must adhere to all safety and security policies while maintaining a clean and professional personal appearance. They are responsible for preparing various stations such as coffee breaks, action stations, buffets, and service carts according to banquet event orders. Communicating dietary needs and special requests to the kitchen is a critical element of the position to ensure guest satisfaction.
In addition to serving, Banquet Servers assist with setting up and clearing tables in a timely and courteous manner, replenishing buffet items to maintain freshness and presentation, and monitoring cleanliness and organization of their assigned areas. The role also includes physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, lifting, and moving items up to 30 pounds, demanding a certain level of physical stamina. Banquet Servers are expected to foster positive working relationships with their colleagues, listen to concerns, and support teamwork to achieve common goals. This position requires excellent communication skills, professionalism, and a commitment to upholding company standards. While performing their duties, servers must protect company assets and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.

Job Requirements
- Must be able to frequently sit, stand, bend, kneel, walk and crouch
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs, and to lift overhead and push/pull, move lighter objects
- Must have state-required alcohol seller server certification
- Must have food handling certification
- Ability to maintain a clean and professional personal appearance

Job Duties
- Prepare coffee breaks, carts, and stations with appropriate food and beverages as stated in Banquet Event Order
- Prepare tables, action stations, buffets, service carts, dessert tables/carts and cordial carts
- Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen
- Ensure courses are cleared and tables are properly crumbed
- Respond to and try to fulfill any special banquet event arrangements
- For plated events, serve and remove tableware in accordance with Touchstone standards
- Replenish buffet items to ensure consistency and freshness in presentation
- Monitor tableware to ensure it is presentable to guests
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned station and service areas
- Bus tables by removing and separating tableware, plate-ware, glassware, and flatware
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors
