The current role available is a part-time, on-call hourly position located at the Hilton Garden Inn in Las Cruces, NM. This position offers an hourly wage ranging from $14.00 to $16.00, dependent upon experience, and includes benefits which are not commonly found in part-time roles, such as dental, vision, and 401k options. As a part-time team member, you will play a crucial role in delivering excellent food and beverage service under the direction of the Food & Beverage Leadership and General Manager. Your responsibilities will span a variety of tasks designed to meet the expectations of both the guests and the operational standards of the property. This is a highly interactive position requiring excellent communication skills, professionalism, and a passion for delivering an elevated guest experience. The position demands collaboration with restaurant leadership to ensure the smooth operation of service shifts and adherence to health, safety, and sanitation standards. Additionally, team members are expected to maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the dining areas, handle guest transactions accurately, and assist with setting up and breaking down food stations during shifts. Job Requirements

  • Current New Mexico food handler certification and alcohol server certification required
  • Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays and late nights
  • Ability to work on your feet in humid kitchen environment for eight hours or more
  • Must be able to lift/push/reach for/carry 10 plus pounds frequently
  • Excellent verbal communication and ability to multitask
  • 6 months to 1 year or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience/training
