The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers are the High 'A' affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers and are recognized as a highly respected Minor League Baseball team. The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers operate Neuroscience Group Field, which is the home stadium featuring a premium second-level Club Level space known as the Fox Club. This space is used throughout the year for a variety of banquet and meeting events and is widely recognized as one of the premier banquet and meeting venues in the Fox Valley. The venue provides an exceptional setting for clients looking to host diverse events, combined with the lively ambiance of a professional sports environment.
The Banquet Sales and Events Manager role is a dynamic and integral position within the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers organization. This role is primarily responsible for selling, organizing, and managing banquets at Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium. The position encompasses the full cycle of event management, from client interaction and booking to overseeing the successful execution of events alongside the food and beverage team. A balance of strong sales acumen, excellent organizational skills, and leadership in event logistics is essential to thriving in this role.
As a Banquet Sales and Events Manager, the individual will take ownership of all banquet and event aspects, including booking, coordinating event set-up, managing menu selections, supervising serving processes, and ensuring thorough cleanup. The role requires close collaboration with banquet staff, overseeing a team of 20-25 members to guarantee smooth event operations. Beyond event execution, the manager is tasked with the crucial responsibilities of hiring, training, coaching, and scheduling banquet staff, fostering a motivated and well-prepared team.
Additional duties include supporting other departments as needed to help meet organizational goals and foster seamless integration across services. The individual will embody the values and philosophy of the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, ensuring adherence to policies, budget considerations, and the overall mission of delivering exceptional client experiences. Employment in this position may involve intense work hours, often extending to 10-12 hour days with a weekly commitment of around 50 hours. Flexibility is required, as many events take place during nights, weekends, and holidays.

- Minimum of 3 years banquet management experience
- associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- ability to manage a team of 20-25 employees
- proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- experience with scheduling and event management software such as Homebase and Honeybook
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- willingness to work extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in food service, hospitality management, or related discipline preferred
- 3-5 years of banquet management experience
