Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years banquet management experience
  • associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • ability to manage a team of 20-25 employees
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • experience with scheduling and event management software such as Homebase and Honeybook
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • willingness to work extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in food service, hospitality management, or related discipline preferred
  • 3-5 years of banquet management experience
  • strong customer service skills
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Visio
  • experience with Homebase, Honeybook, and Canva is a plus
  • excellent organizational and leadership abilities
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Sell banquet services to potential clients
  • organize and manage banquet events including booking, set-up, menu selection, serving, and cleanup
  • hire, train, coach, and schedule banquet staff
  • provide tours of the facility to prospective clients
  • create event proposals
  • coordinate banquet staff of 20-25 members
  • manage entertainment and audio/visual equipment requirements
  • ensure superior customer service and client satisfaction
  • assist other departments as needed
