Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years banquet management experience
- associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- ability to manage a team of 20-25 employees
- proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- experience with scheduling and event management software such as Homebase and Honeybook
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- willingness to work extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in food service, hospitality management, or related discipline preferred
- 3-5 years of banquet management experience
- strong customer service skills
- proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Visio
- experience with Homebase, Honeybook, and Canva is a plus
- excellent organizational and leadership abilities
- ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Sell banquet services to potential clients
- organize and manage banquet events including booking, set-up, menu selection, serving, and cleanup
- hire, train, coach, and schedule banquet staff
- provide tours of the facility to prospective clients
- create event proposals
- coordinate banquet staff of 20-25 members
- manage entertainment and audio/visual equipment requirements
- ensure superior customer service and client satisfaction
- assist other departments as needed
