Operating with a commitment to improving the quality of life for the communities in which it serves, Sodexo fosters an environment of respect, inclusion, and purpose for its employees. With a broad portfolio that spans food services, catering, and facilities management, Sodexo provides memorable and seamless experiences across industries including corporate, healthcare, education, and sports and leisure.

The position available is for a Banquet Porter at T-Mobile Park, a prominent venue known for hosting diverse and large-scale events including sports, concerts, and corporate gatherings. This is a part-time role with varying shifts and open availability preferred, offering a competitive pay rate of $21.80 per hour. Working at Sodexo goes beyond just a job – it is an opportunity to belong to a team where everyday actions have significant impact, enabling employees to thrive while acting with purpose.

As a Banquet Porter, you will play a critical leadership role directly on the event floor during banquet and catered events. You will coordinate service execution and direct Banquet Servers and other Porters to ensure seamless service aligned with Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), timelines, and Sodexo’s high standards. The role demands active participation in all phases of event delivery, including setup, service, and breakdown, always maintaining focus on guest satisfaction, precise communication, and attention to detail. Working closely with the Banquet Supervisor, culinary personnel, and service teams, you will help facilitate smooth and professional event delivery.

This role is suited to individuals who are proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks with efficiency. The responsibilities may vary depending on the event size, service style, and client needs, offering dynamic workdays that require adaptability and teamwork. The Banquet Porter leads by example, ensuring compliance with food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service policies, and often assists with the training and onboarding of banquet service staff. Physical endurance is also essential, as the role involves lifting and moving equipment as necessary.

Sodexo is committed to supporting its workforce with flexible work arrangements and ongoing professional development opportunities. Employees benefit from comprehensive training, career advancement prospects, and a supportive culture that values diversity, equity, and inclusion. As part of Sodexo, you will be joining a global company that values each individual’s contribution and offers a variety of benefits that promote well-being and work-life balance.

Overall, this Banquet Porter role at Sodexo provides a rewarding chance to build a career in event service leadership within a company dedicated to positive impact on the community and its employees.
